Spa Etiquette and Business Policies

Health and Care Policies

Clients are required to cancel/reschedule any treatment should you feel ill, have a cold, the flu or an infection.

Please do not come in and expose me or others. I work with many clients that may have already compromised immune systems and for everyone’s health, please reschedule.

Please note that you will not be seen if you arrive with sniffles, cough, sneezing or any of the below conditions.

• Diarrhea, Vomiting, Chills, Fever, Chicken Pox, Shingles, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Cold Sores, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Scabies, Sore Throat, Thrush, Whooping Cough Ear Infection and the common cold.

Note: This policy is not and will not be used to get out of following our cancellation/rescheduling policy. You are still responsible for canceling and rescheduling your appointment and abuse of this policy may result in required deposits value 100% of service(s)

Health Disclosure

All clients are required to disclose health information, including medications in order to provide you safe yet effective skincare treatments.

If information is “forgotten” you risk a contraindication occurring with the ingredients in the products and also with specific aesthetic machines used in available treatments.

There are some modalities used in the office that may, depending on your health history require permission from your physician in order to have the procedure. This is always for your safety and concerns, please be truthful and know your medical history is always confidential.

Travel Policy

If you are planning a trip out of state or country. Do not schedule an appointment immediately after wait at least 2 weeks.

Train Stations, Bus and Airplanes, airports are hubs of possible transfer of illnesses that we may not know we have contracted until later.

Cell Phone Policy

Please turn your cell phones off or set on silent during your time at the studio and enjoy your “me time”.

Child Policy

Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are not permitted in the Studio.

Please make other arrangement for your children on appointment days. Pure Skin Makeup & Skincare studio reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge you for the full booking should you arrive with a child/minor.

Pure Skin Makeup & Skincare Studio will not be held accountable for inquiry or accidents to, or caused by unsupervised children.

Teenager Policy

Clients between 12-18 must be accompanied by an adult to sign and provide written permission for all waxing and skin care services.

Clients under 15 must have a parent or guardian preset at all times.

Absolutely NO Brazilian waxing will be performed on minors under the age of 18.

Price and Service Policy

Prices are subject to applicable taxes.

Prices and services are subject to change without notice.

We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

Treatment times are approximate. Gratuities are not included in the service price and are not mandatory either, but kindly appreciated.

Sanitation and Safety Policy

Following each service, the treatment room is cleaned, including doorknobs and the examination table sterilized with new bedding materials.

Equipment and implements are cleansed and sterilized with hospital grade disinfectants, or are made to be disposable.

Food or drink into the treatment room area is prohibited.
