A thin sheet wrapped around the lower portion of a naked woman

WTH, I bet that was your first reaction, what the heck is that? A Vajacial, or Vagacial, or who knows how or what you call it or spell it. LOL

Well I am a licensed esthetician and I have seen them spelled both ways. I call mine Brazilian Treatment. I am sure you will bump into other creative ways of calling this service if you really care to look around.

Anyway, I am here just to give you a quick and to the point explanation. A Vagacial, Vajacial or for the remainder of this post, I will call it brazilian treatment is a treatment kind of like a mini facial for your private parts. Specifically the bikini line and the mons pubis. No we don’t really touch your vagina people, but hey the name does kind of insinuate or create some confusion but let’s keep it clear.

If you are reading this you are either curious or you legitimately suffer from ingrown hairs and want to know how this may or may not work for you.

If you shave, sugar or wax, you may suffer from ingrown hairs, or you may just be so very lucky and never get one, but for those who do, this is a treatment that can offer some help.

The basics of the treatment is to cleanse, exfoliate, extractions of ingrown hairs, mask and then moisturize. In some instances steam may be used through the cleansing or exfoliating process.

What are the benefits to this? Well simple, it helps minimize ingrown hair, keeps the area nicely exfoliated and smooth. Maybe you can’t do your on extractions of ingrown hairs well, or you just don’t know how.

When should you do this? Typically you would want to do this 10 days after you wax if you shave, you can probably do this 5 days after since when you shave you usually have hair within a few days.

How often should you do this service?
That is entirely up to you, You don’t need to do it every time you wax unless you feel it helps or you don’t want to do it. You may just need a few treatments and then your esthetician can offer you the right products to maintain and do at home.

In closing here, I hope this was helpful and I will say, This is definitely not a service for the shy person, because no matter what you will be somewhat exposed. It is what it is. The good part is that generally it only takes 20 minutes, but I am sure different places may extend it, but generally 20 minutes.

Below is a little description on what I have as a description for this service.

Do you suffer from ingrown hairs? Ingrown hairs are a common problem when it comes to hair removal, whether you wax or shave and can result in mild to severe skin infections, including acne. This treatment is intended specifically for the intimate areas, exactly the bikini line and the pubic bone area (mons pubis).

The treatment includes cleansing, manual exfoliation, careful extractions of ingrown hairs, a special mud mask that which draws out any impurities and ingrown hair from under the skin and ends with a soothing moisturizer.

This treatment is suggested 10-14 days after waxing or shaving.

Hope it helped!

Your esthetician 🙂
